Ogun State Schools Return To Normal Hours Of 8am To 2pm
Regardless of the rise of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, Ogun State Government hanged shifting of classes, and putting it back to normal classes of 8am to 2pm.
The Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Abayomi Arigbabu noted that he gave the directive to head of schools on Monday.
Prof. Arigbabu said, “School will get back to their hours, from 8am to 2pm. Shifting of classes will not allowed anymore because the syllabus has to be covered, as well as to keep the Students save from loitering around before there classes is scheduled“.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Communications, Remmy Hazzan, bred in the bone for the development on Tuesday.
Remmy Hazzan declare that the Government was mindful of the multiplying cases of COVID19 and had put in place measures to protect both the Students and Teachers by making certain that non-pharmaceutical protocols are supported.
He also mention that the State Government was going to examine the policy in two to three weeks.
